Heavy Rain Risk Area
The strengthening northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with more rain and isolated heavy rains in the lower South. The rather strong wind force the waves in the lower Gulf up to be 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf and the Andaman Sea offshore, the waves are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore. People along the Gulf shore should beware of inshore surges.
